Fred Peace

Fred Cleveland Peace, age 53, of Knoxville went home to be with his Lord Monday, December 29, 2014. Fred was a Veteran of the United States Navy, stationed in Norfolk, VA, where he served proudly during his time of service. Norfolk was where he spent the majority of his life enjoying the sun, sandy beaches and sea. For the last 14 years of Fred's life he lived in Knoxville where he spent time and enjoyed living life with his family and friends. Fred was a proud server at the Melting Pot where he loved making people smile and laugh each and every day. He was a proud member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Knoxville.

Fred is deeply loved and missed by all of his family and friends. He was a gem to all who knew him. Fred was preceded in death by his mother, Guylene Peace; father, Otis Peace; brother, Mike Peace; grandparents, Denver and Zelma Cooley, Fred and Cleora Peace. He is survived by his life partner, Larry Maso of Knoxville; sisters, Joy Lloyd and Pam Hopper of Knoxville; brothers, Darrell Peace of Kingston and Doug Miller and wife Lauren of Knoxville; nieces, Amy Coulter and husband Eric of Knoxville and Kelli Miller of Knoxville; nephews, Isaiah Lloyd and fiancAC. Shianne Hines of Wartburg, Sean Peace of Kingston, Sean Miller of Knoxville and Kurt Miller and wife Kayla of Nashville; great-niece, Hailey Coulter and great-nephew, Bryce Coulter, as well as many aunts, cousins and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 6 at 9:00am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 West Vine Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37902. Internment with Military Honors at 11:30am at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 East Gov. John Sevier Hwy. 168, Knoxville, TN 37920.
