Fred Daniel of Sunbright, TN

Fred Morris Daniel, 83, of Sunbright, TN,  passed away at Methodist Medical Hospital in Oak Ridge, TN. on Monday morning, March 27, 2017 as a result of complications from a protracted illness. He was a member of Big Spring Union Baptist Church in Harrogate, TN where he committed his life to the Lord and was baptized. From 1954 to1976, he served in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the military, he embraced the labor, challenges and satisfaction of farming.

He was preceded in death by dear wife of 31 years, Martha (Donaldson) Daniel;

His parents , Phillip and Ida Daniel; and several siblings, Arthur and Rachel, who died in infancy; Laura Callahan; Florence Daniel; Ruth Long; Louis Daniel; Charlie Daniel and John Floyd Daniel.

Surviving are brother, Carlie Daniel, Sevierville, TN; sister, Bea Fleenor, of Elizabethton, TN;

And numerous loving nieces and nephews. His three children, Jason Daniel and wife Kathy of Jamestown, TN, Barry Daniel and wife Tasha of Sunbright, TN, and Danette Van Dalen and husband Matthew of Vienna, Virginia, along with his Nine grandchildren and one step grandchild, will sorely miss “Papa Bear”.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 31, 2017 at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright, TN from 5-7:00 p.m... Funeral services will follow with Rev. Mike Hammonds officiating.

Graveside services will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City, TN at 3:00 p.m., April 1, 2017.
