Frank Gilliam

Frank Gilliam age 82 of Wartburg, formerly of Chicago, Illinois met his Heavenly Father, Monday, May 11, 2015. He was met by his loving family who went on before him. He was born March 5, 1933 in Pembroke, Kentucky. His family then moved to South Bend, Indiana and finally settled in Chicago, Illinois where he was raised. He served his country with pride and dignity during the Korean War. He was on the boxing team while in Germany, and the Honor Guard in Marsailles, France. He then returned to Chicago to open a business, work for the Railroad and later started a career that spanned over 3 decades driving a truck across Illinois and the tri state area. He retired in 1995 and in 1996 relocated to the East Tennessee area where his wife's family was. He was a member of the American Legion Post #50 in Rockwood, TN where he showed his respect to fallen Veterans and their families by being a member of the Roane County Honor Guard. He is preceded in death by his Father: Howard Gilliam, Mother: Helen Milliken, Brothers: Kenneth Edwards and Bill Gilliam, In-laws: Renfro and Lillian Armes, Special Friends: Tommy Francis, Jr. Matheson and J.C. Francis.

He leaves loving memories to his wife Kay of Wartburg

Daughters: Jackie Daughtery, Wartburg and Kim Landerous, Chicago
Grandchildren: Jason Gilliam, And Frank Gilliam, Burbank Illinois, Travis Daughtery and Trevor Daughtery, Wartburg, Logan, Riley and Brendon Bullen, Wartburg, Lauren Landerous, Chicago and Sidney McPeters, Oliver Springs, TN
