Flore Gabrielle Beaubien, 90, of Wartburg, Tennessee died peacefully in her home Wednesday, October 12, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in Montreal, Canada on September 4, 1926.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Agnes and Adelard Fontaine and her late husband of 59 years, Lucien Rolland Beaubien. She was a devoted wife and mother and a faithful member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Harriman, Tennessee.
Flore and Lucien arrived in Tennessee form Sanford, Maine in 1965 to build and manage Tennford Weaving Company in Wartburg. Leaving behind family, friends and all that was familiar, the couple and their five children moved to Morgan County. They kept the children busy with weekend trips camping in the Smokey Mountains or fishing on Norris Lake. Over time Maine and Canada became places to visit, but Tennessee was home.
Flore is survived by four sons; Marc Beaubien and wife, Peggy of Oneida; Michael Beaubien and wife, Connie of Lancing; Daniel Beaubien and wife, Yvonne of Wartburg; and David Beaubien of Wartburg. One daughter, Denise Howard and husband, Lonnie of Lancing. Nine grandchildren, Lynne Anderson, Cynthia Beaubien, Gabrielle Beaubien, Matthew Beaubien, Joseph Beaubien, Adam Beaubien, Aaron Beaubien, Steven Hensley, Sara Lavender, nine great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Nicholas, Gracie Anderson, Zachary, Bella, Benjamin, Sophia Jenkins, Mason Beaubien and Seth Hensley.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. A Requiem Mass will be Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Harriman with Father Mike Sweeney officiating. Interment will follow in the Morgan Memorial Gardens, in Wartburg at 12:00 p.m.
