Evelyn K Crass

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished Evelyn Kamer Crass, age 83 of Oakdale. She passed suddenly and peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Courtyards Assistant Living in Oak Ridge. Evelyn was a former member of Master Gardeners of Roane County. She loved working in her flowers and gardening. She had a unique love for all living creatures. Evelyn was devout Christian and former member of Mt. Pisgah Church.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband Dean H. Crass; parents Henry and Dorothy Kamer; brothers David, Carl Dean, Marvin and Edwin Kamer; sisters in law Karen, Linda and Kim Kamer.

Evelyn is survived by her brothers Dale and wife Sheila Kamer, Gary Kamer and sister in law Barbara Kamer; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends; daughters Tracy Miller and family and Barbie Barber and family.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 18, 2024 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Lee Hickman officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Orchard Cemetery in Oakdale.
