Eunice Graatsma

Eunice D. Graafsma gained her wings November 13, 2024 joining her Lord and many loved ones in Heaven. She passed peacefully in her sleep following a brief illness.

Miss Eunice was born at home on May 2, 1929 to parents Vernon B. and Ferol (Rupert) Dewyer in Clearfield, PA. She was the fifth of 7 children.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Rick; son Jeffrey V. Miller; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Also, many other family members and dear friends.

As a mother of a blended family, she is survived by 3 daughters Margie (Ron) Lake, Janet (Mike) Cooper, and Kristin Miller; 2 sons John (Kim) Miller and Steve (Lisa) Graafsma; 5 granddaughter’s Jennifer, Bethany, Mikki, Mary, and Jessica; 3 grandsons Jake, Steven, and Charles; 4 great grandsons Alex, Matt, Nick and Sam; sister Greta Crawford and her Wartburg Presbyterian Church family, extended family and many friends.

Miss Eunice was a woman of deep and abiding faith in the Lord, and a fierce prayer warrior. She was a voracious life-long reader and a die-hard fan of Penn State Football, Duke (men’s) basketball, and a good game of scrabble.

Her family thanks everyone for their unceasing prayers; as well as Life Care Center of Morgan County, Quality Hospice, and Schubert Funeral Home.

In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated, and no services are planned.
