Emitt (Bubby) Massengale Jr. of Petros, TN

Emitt “Bubby” Massengale Jr., 75, of the Petros community went home to be with the Lord Sunday January 1, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emitt and Dicie (Phillips) Massengale, and sisters, Mae Phillips and Jurline Martin.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara (Nunley) Massengale, daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Charles (Doobie) Bunch, grandchildren, Logan Ray and Lauren Rose Bunch, brother, Edward and wife Adel Massengale, brother, E.J. and wife Vella Massengale. He is also survived by special sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

He enjoyed sitting on the porch and spending time with his family and special family pup, Loretta Lynn.

A Graveside service will be held at Petros Cemetery on January 4th, 2017 at 11:00 am with Preacher Don Long officiating. Pallbearers will be Austinn Massengale, Chase Brown, Danny Martin, Derek Bunch, Eddie Massengale, Seth Long, Steve Massengale, and Tim Massengale.
