Elmer Howard

Howard, Elmer Cleo age 95, of Deer Lodge, Tennessee, passed away on October 1, 2013 at the Cookeville Hospital. He was preceded in death by wife Mary Syrene Howard; father Robert Howard; mother Dora Howard; brothers, Bud Bishop; Charles Bishop; Ivan , Edison, Leroy(Bud), and Willis Howard; and sister Lorrine Ooten, sons, Wallace Wayne Howard; Stanley Ross Howard and Charles Howard.

He is survived by, Sons: William Earnest Howard; Lester Paul and wife Mary,
Daughters: Virgina Oakley; Brenda Lou (Linda) Howard; Kathy and husband Darrel;
Brother: Harold Howard;
Sister: Bertie Adams;
Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great -great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
Also survived by special friend Christine Horton.

Elmer was a World War II veteran, and a lifetime sawmill operator was his profession. If you knew him you were one of the thousands who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow with Rev. Bill Durham officiating. Graveside Services will be Friday morning at 11:00 AM in the High Point Cemetery, Deer Lodge.
