Ellis Hamby, Sr., of Wartburg

Mr. Ellis Ray Hamby, Sr., age 69 of Wartburg, passed away sadly Friday December 19, 2019. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is preceded in death by his son, Ellis Ray, Jr.; parents, Stanley and Martha Hamby; brothers: Jim and Roger Hamby; and sister, Lori Hamby.

He is survived by his son, James (Hope) Hamby; grandchildren: Bo and Luke Hamby; former wife, Star Hamby; brothers: Robert and L.D. Hamby; sisters: Imojean Hamby, Wanda Price, Annie Hamby, Edith Godsey, and Trish Godsey; special friend, Deanna Foster; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a graveside Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Tiago Cemetery in Devonia, TN.
