Eldon Byrge

Eldon Daniel Byrge, age 84 of Oakdale, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at
Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church and attended Rankin Chapel Baptist Church the last few years that his health allowed. He was known for having one of the first Hay Bailers in Morgan County, also known for his small role in the Movie "Wild River" made and produced in 1960 in Charleston, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, parents H.E. (Pistol Pete) and Georgia Byrge and brother Cecil Byrge, both former Sheriffs of Morgan County.

He is survived by sons: Randy Byrge and wife Mickey of Knoxville, Keith and wife Carla of Wartburg
Granddaughter: Morgan Byrge of Huntsville
Grandson: Eli Byrge of Wartburg

The family will receive friends Friday February 24, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 with Pastor Brett Palotta and Bro. Randall Landrum officiating. Interment will be Saturday February 25, 2012 at 11:00am in the Rankin Chapel Cemetery, Oakdale.
