Edith STRINGFIELD

Mrs. Edith Evelyn Shannon Stringfield, age 73, of Lancing, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was born May 21, 1936 to the late Alfred and Frankie Shannon.
She is also preceded in death by sisters; June Vaden, Laurine Human, Alline Morgan, Ruth Alexander and Helen Bunnels.
Brothers; Theodore and James Shannon.
Grandchildren; Dana Woodward, Jamie Howell and Jared Seabolt.

Ms. Stringfield is survived by son and daughter-in-law;
Bill and Karen Dennis.
Daughters and sons-in-law; James and Gloria Howell and
David and Joleen Woodward.
Grandchildren; Joey Seabolt, Lora Seabolt Parris, Chandra Howell Olmstead, Billy Dennis, Kasie Dennis Phillips, James and Cindy White.
8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
Sister; Charline Suerth
Brothers; Albert, Bob and Harvey Shannon and numerous
nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, July 26th, from 1 to 3:00 p.m. at the Sonbright Church of God. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with
Bro. Jack Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
