Edith Daniel

Edith Marie "Goforth" Daniel, age 81 of Lancing passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at Life Care of Morgan County. She was born in Blount County. on May 2, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Goforth; husband, SV Hamby; two grandsons, Trent and Jason Haynes;3 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Lillard Daniel, children, Carolyn McCormick and husband Jerry, New Lisbon, IN, Larry Jenkins and wife Deana, Wartburg, TN, Jerry Jenkins, New Castle, IN, Pat Haynes and husband Dennis, Pendleton, IN, John Jenkins and wife Jane, New Castle, IN, Vickie Cabrera and husband Pedro, Pembroke Pines, FL and Kirt Hamby, Kokomo, IN, step sons, Tim Daniel, Knoxville, Ted Daniel, Texas and Mitchell Daniel, Lancing, one sister; Frankie Jenkins; Maryville, TN; one brother, Fred Lee Goforth, Maryville, TN, 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Edith sang like an angel and now she's singing with the angels.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow with Bro. L.P. Ford officiating. Graveside Services will be Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Daniel Family Cemetery, Lancing.
