Eddie York, Sr. of Harriman, TN

Eddie Joe York, age 69, of Harriman passed away at his home Monday, December 23, 2019.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman York and Gertrude Moore; wife, Patricia York.

He is survived by his children, Tina (Gary) Boles of Harriman, Eddie (Stacey) York Jr. of Oliver Springs, Billy (Charmin) York of Oliver Springs, Charles “Munk” York of Harriman, Sonya York of Oak Ridge, Shawn (Ambra) York of Harriman; stepchildren, Victoria (Rusty) Sargent of Wartburg, Kayla (Scott) Gifford of Crossville and Lacie (John) Neal of Crossville; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; siblings, Jimmie York, Billy York, Cindy Boulton, Steve York, Brenda Chaney, Connie Asher, Debra Robbins, Tony Brown and Joe Moore Jr. and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. George Miles and Bro. Eugene Chaney officiating. Interment will follow at the Frost Bottom Cemetery, Oliver Springs, TN
