Eddie Jones of Deer Lodge, TN

Edward  (Eddie)  Jones, 71, of Sunbright passed away at home, Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Alvinia Jones; 2 brothers, Walter Jones of Deer Lodge and Tommy Jones of Meister Hill.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Merly Jones; 1 son, Jason and wife, Christinia Jones of Clinton; 2 grandchildren, Logan and Hannah Jones; 2 sisters, Gwenneth Freels of Sunbright and Evelyn Jones of Deer Lodge.

He worked as a lineman most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing every chance he got. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play and grow.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bro Herbert Judkins officiating. Interment to follow in the Friends Chapel Church Cemetery in Deer Lodge.
