Norman Dwayne Williams age 73 went home to be with the lord at his home in Potters Chapel, Lancing, TN. Surrounded by his family.  He was born September 18, 1942 in Lancing, TN. He was a member of Potters Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army; He also loved to hunt and fish.  He was also a member of the Morgan County Rescue Squad and a member of the Brannon Kries Post 149 American Legion of Wartburg  and loved his group of wonderful nurses and staff from Home Health Care of East TN and Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Virginia (Bunch) Williams

Parents Sam and Edith Williams, sisters Imogene and Alene Williams, brothers Dee, Delane (Duck) Williams, great grandson Kegan Cross, brother in-law John McCoy, Father and Mother In-law Virgil and Sue Bunch.

Survived by Son:  Calvin (Heather) Williams, Daughters Anita Cross, Annette (Greg) Bivens, Daughter in-law Cheryl Williams, Brothers:  Dwight (Carol) Larry-Tubby (Susie), Donnie (Gay), Sister Reba (Stanley) Bates, Ann Adams, Iola McCoy, Shirley Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Brother in-law Fred (Bob) Bunch, William Copeland. 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one on the way.  With a host of nieces and nephews and much loved church family.

Family will receive friends Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 1 to 3 pm Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg.  Funeral Services will follow with Bro. Mitch Hawn, Bro. Mike Ritzman, and Bro. Russell Jones officiating.  Interment will follow in the Potters Chapel Cemetery, Lancing.
