Donald Roberts of Coalfield, TN

Donald Earl Roberts, age 69 of Coalfield formerly of Oak Ridge, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Parkwest Medical Center of Knoxville after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was retired from DOE after 41 years of services.. Preceded in death by parents; Philip Earl and Bessie Newby Roberts and an infant brother Philip Eugene Roberts.

He is survived by his wife:  Linda Roberts

Daughters:  Kimberly Dawn Lively (Mitchell) of Knoxville, Amy Nicole Jones (Bobby) of Wartburg

Son: Joseph Daniel Roberts of Oak Ridge

A very special granddaughter Zoe Ann Jones

Mother-in-law:  Nance Goddard

Special Cousins:  Georgia Lee, Elaine Clevestine, Beverly Thacker

Also surviving are many other family and friends.

Donald was a train enthusiast and collected toy trains.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 5-7 pm Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.  Funeral Services will follow at 7pm with Bro. Bobby McCoy officiating.  Graveside services will be Monday 10am in the Western Cemetery, Coalfield TN.
