Donald (Ricky) Young, of Sunbright, TN

Donald Richard “Ricky” Young Jr., age 54, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, March 20, 2019.  Ricky loved the Lord, he loved playing guitar and singing and he loved spending time with his family and friends.  He was a lifelong employee of Armstrong flooring in Oneida and will be dearly missed by his family, work family and everyone that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Charles and Arletta Duncan; father, Donald Richard Young Sr., and brother, James Ray Young.

Ricky left behind 3 wonderful children, Richard, Ryan and Emma Young; wife, Heather Young; mother, Arvella Terry; sisters, Kathy Young Lykins and Donna Young Roberts (Randy); nieces, Jessica Young, Amanda Silviera, Leah Norris, Reshea Roberts; nephew, Dillon Woodward and many more uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Charles Northrup and Bro. Herb Judkins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sunbright Cemetery in Sunbright.
