Donald Wilson

Donald “Don” McCarty Wilson Sr., age 69 of Morgan County went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2016 in the comfort of his home. Don was born in Allegany, Maryland on May 18, 1947. He served in Vietnam as a Pvt. E-1 in the US Army. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Harriman, TN.

Don enjoyed being outdoors, wood-working, small engine repair, taking care of dogs Luigi, Louisa and Chico and spending time with his beloved wife Alice.

Don was preceded in death by infant son Edward Donald Wilson and twin brother Kenneth Francis Wilson.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Alice Faye Wilson, also of Morgan County. Children, Donald “Donnie” McCarty Wilson, Jr. and wife Edie, Stacy Hott and Michael Wilson and wife Johnna, all of Maryland. Justine Williams of California, Jacob Martin Wilson, Melanie Fell and husband Bob, all of Florida. Grandchildren, Nicole Marie Love of California, Dylan Wilson, Zachary Wilson along with brothers and sisters, Wyatt D’atri, all of Maryland. Several loving brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Special friends, Dakota Matheson, Rockie Elswick, Scott Blake and beautiful nurse Jennifer.

Private memorial service held for close friends and family.
