Don Reynolds

Don L. Reynolds age 59, of Brookville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton following a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mary Marie (Langley) Reynolds, Sister, Carolyn Goad and by a brother, Clarence Reynolds, Jr. He retired from Iron Workers Local 290 in Dayton. He was an active member of VFW Post 3288 and AMVETS Post 1789, both in Brookville. Don was an avid supporter of Brookville Pee Wee Football.

He is survived by his loving companion of nearly 30 years, Karen Jackson; daughters, Angela Jackson and Cortney Jackson; beloved grandson, Gavin Farris; siblings and their spouses, Betty Jane (Arnold) Johnson, Mary (Jim) Fitzpatirck, Lee Roy (Rita) Reynolds, Joe (Pat) Reynolds, William (Angie) Reynolds and Julie Marie McGill, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM Monday November 7, 2011 at the Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, 950 Albert Rd. Brookville, with service to follow at 7:00PM. On Tuesday, there will be a visitation 6-8 PM at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg, TN. The Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Joe Phillips officiating. Burial will be held Wednesday November 9, 2011 at 11:00a.m. in the Reynolds Family Cemetery in Oakdale, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.
