Dolores (Dee) Adkins Galloway born March 20, 1933, went home to her Lord and Savior on January 2, 2019. She was a member of Wartburg First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton Calvin and Della Adkins; brother, Lawrence Adkins; sisters, Geneva Payne and Vivian Drum.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Christine) Kirby, Frank (Donna) Kirby, Clifton (Becky) Galloway; daughters, Trudi (Curt) Harris, Julie (Chris) Harden; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the staff at Parkwest Medical Center-3rd floor Cardio Pulmonary Unit. And also the caring staff of Home Health Care of East Tennessee Hospice and a special thank you to her loving care giver and niece Phyllis Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of past member Dee Galloway of the Morgan County Volunteer Rescue Squad.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Frank Kirby and Bro. Matthew Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Deer Lodge.
