Davy Hall left this world on July 6, 2018. Although he was called away way too soon, he lived a life of experiences that for most would have taken hundreds of years.
Always memorable and somewhat of a chameleon, Davy had a way of befriending people all over the world. One example of this is while serving his country in Afghanistan as an Army Ranger, he befriended some local Afghans who shared their meal with him. From the richest of the rich to the poorest of the poor, no matter their race, culture, or religion, he saw every single person for what they were… a person.
Those who knew him best knew that it wasn’t always rainbows and unicorns, but he wanted to share the biggest lesson that he had learned from life. Davy wanted everyone to be able to treat people and all of Earth with positivity, kindness, compassion, understanding, and love.
His family, including wife Jennifer (Kennedy) Hall, son Blake Hall, mother Jennifer (Jones) Hall, grandmother Francis Jones, cousin Ashley (Jones) Thomas along with so many others who are too numerous to name, will receive friends at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg on July 12th from 5 to 7 pm with Military Honors to follow at 7pm.
A celebration of life will take place at Lilly Pad Hopyard Brewery located at 920 Ridge Rd., Lancing, TN 37770, on Monday July 16th from 6 to 9 pm. Jennifer and Blake would love for family and friends to come and join them to enjoy the outdoors, some good music, and fond memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to GlobalGiving.org, Project #29837 which is the Puerto Rico & Caribbean Hurricane Relief Fund; or if you would rather contribute to Blake’s college fund, there has been an account set up at Citizens First Bank in Wartburg.
