David Joseph Marcou, born March 25, 1955 in Flint, Michigan. 63 years old. David was a proud UAW member who retired from General Motors after 28 years of service. He was a fraternal order of the eagles. He is also married to the love of his life for 24 years on May 10, 1993. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, birdwatching and anything nature related. David enjoyed cars, racing and cheering for any Detroit sports team, especially the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan football. He loved his yorkie dogs but especially Peppy.
He is survived by the love of his life Teresa for 24 years. David loved his children and especially his grandchildren. Father of David (Jessica), Amber, Cecilia and Joseph. Grandfather to Landon, Lilly, Aubriana and Eliza; siblings, Beverly, Sharon and brother, Dick and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
David is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Leona, brother, Jimmy, sister Diane (Sissy Belle), brother in law David Kelly (DK) and many others.
Well he often voiced his strong opinions; he always displayed a very tender heart. It was David’s dream to move to Tennessee and he was able to achieve that dream for a short while. This is where he died peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018.
The family will have a Memorial Service July 13, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the St. Charles & Helena Church 230 E. Vienna St. Clio, Michigan 48420.
