Dale W. Goodman, 72, of Nashville Hwy, Lancing, TN went home to be with our Lord on January 31st, 2024 at his home surrounded by a host of loved ones.
Dale was a lifelong resident of Morgan County with the exception of a few stints of employment that required travel. Dale was a skilled heavy equipment operator and enjoyed his work. He loved the public and the time he served as the Morgan County Clerk. He was a member of the Cattleman’s Association, sang with various choral groups, and was a Master Mason in Emerald Lodge #377. Two of his greatest passions were singing and wood working.
Dale was preceded in death by his son Phillip Goodman, mother and father Willard and Pauline Goodman, brother David Goodman, sister Freda, brother Wayne Goodman, sister in law Carolyn Goodman, nephew Joey Campbell, and step son Kelly Bullen.
He is survived by his lovely wife of 11 years Terecia;
Children: daughter and son in law Leigh Ann and Kenny Wilks, daughter in law Stephanie Goodman
Grandchildren: Dylan Wilks, Lauren and Jacob Harris, Levi Wilks, Cayden Goodman, Bethany Bunch
Great grandchildren: Paisley and Asher
Siblings: sister and brother in law Jeannette and Tom Patrick, sister Marilyn Milligan, sister in laws Barbara Goodman and Sara Goodman
Step family: Brad Bullen, Jeneen and Stephen Kohler, Bryce, Kendall, Alex, Alyse, Mckennan, Suzanne, Riley, and Mason
Also, a host of nieces and nephews, wonderful friends, and a team of loving nurses and caregivers.
Family will be receiving friends from 1:00-4:00pm on Sunday, February 4th, with the celebration of life service at 4:00pm at Schubert Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at Wartburg Cemetery. Services will be conducted by family and friends. The family would love for you to share a memory of Dale during the celebration of his life.
