Clarence Robbins , Jr.

Mr. Clarence Arlow Robbins, Jr. age 82 of Oakdale passed away at his home on Saturday September 21, 2013 following a brief illness. Mr. Robbins was retired from T.V.A. were he was a truck driver. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a mason with Lodge #130 in Watburg, TN. He spent a lot of his life driving a truck, seeing the country, hunting, and fishing, loved sitting on his porch and enjoying life.
He was a member of Childs Memorial Baptist Church in Harriman, TN
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Faye Verhine Robbins, parents, Clarence Arlow Robbins, Sr. and Helen Robbins, brother-in-law, Ralph Mathis, nephew, Mitchell Mathis
He is survived by his daughter, Leisa Hill and Chuck Kesterson of Lake City, TN
Son, John Robbins and wife Tammy of Dover, Delaware
Granddaughters, Chelsea Rose Hill of Lake City, TN, Gretchen Lea Arzillo and husband Richard of Lakeland, FL
Lifelong friend, J.R.Collins and caregiver Bertha Smith
The family will receive friends Wednesday September 25, 2013 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg, TN from 4-6:00 p.m.
Funeral service will follow with Rev. Don Long officiating.
Interment will be in Crab Orchard Cemetery, Oakdale, TN with military honors.
