Clarie "Clara" Makins of Sunbright

A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Clarie Makins passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 77. Her family knew her as Ninny, a nickname she cherished for many years. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Sunbright, TN. Clarie loved her family and being able to spend time with them especially on holidays. 

She was preceded in death by her father Orville Galloway and mother Nellie Hall. Her two brothers Buddy and Harold Galloway. Grandson Donald Henry Makins and great grandson Finnly Ronald Makins. 

She is survived by her husband of 57 years James Makins. Her sisters Janet, Wanda, Shirley, and Pat. Her three children Cheryl Hamby and husband Ray, Ken Makins and wife Lori and Donald Makins and wife Rhonda. Her grandchildren Erika Williams and husband Ron, Bieonica Parsons, Jericho Makins and wife Miranda, Jordan Makins and partner Mollie, Ashley Makins and partner Tyler, Nolan Makins and wife Gabriella. Her great grand children Jameson and Oliver Makins and one on the way due in March 2024.
