Clara Jones, of Wartburg, TN

Clara “Louise” Collins Jones, age 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 24, 2019.

Her life was a light to everyone she met and her love for Christ was apparent in all she did.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Fred and Minnie Mae Collins; husband, John Paul Jones; sister, Violet Randolph and stepson, Jack Paul Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Pat Christmas, Theresa (Steve) Lance, Paula (Chris) Melhorn, Jocelyn (Scott) Taylor; stepson, Mike (Crew) Jones; grandchildren, Brian Christmas, Shawn (Briley) Webster, Nick Dixon, Hannah Melhorn, Zachary Taylor and Grace Taylor; great grandchildren, Brianna Christmas, Bradley Christmas, Tallan Webster and Liam Dixon; great grand dog, Zeke Melhorn.

The family would like to extend a “Thank You” to the staff of Methodist Medical Center and NHC of Oak Ridge for their kind care.

The family will meet at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. and proceed to Liberty Church Cemetery for a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Jim West officiating.

Schubert Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
