Chester Honeycutt, age 78, of Brimstone, passed away January 31, 2014 at his home, with his children surrounding him. He was a member of Slick Rock Baptist Church, Brimstone. Born to the parents of Rev. George Harrison Honeycutt & Louisa Jane Jones Honeycutt, preceded in death by parents, his wife Esther V. Gibson Honeycutt, Three sisters Irene Honeycutt, Burleen Griffith, & Ethel Goad, Edgar Honeycutt

Survived by children: Mary Ella, Linda Ruth, Chester Jr. & wife Carol, Angela Jean & husband Loren, Elva Louise Honeycutt
Grandchildren Steven Lindsay, Chet Lindsey, James Robert & wife Frankie Lindsay, Jimmie Sexton & wife Jessica, April Dawn & husband Randy Taylor, Sarah Boles, Andy Boles, and Amber Barnett, Rose & Tony Jeffers.
Great grandchildren Tobie & Cristen, Grace Lindsay, Elie Lindsay, Taylor, Eligah, Madison, & Michael Sexton
Sisters; Lillian Hamby, Vivian Troxtell, Kathleen Golden & husband Bill Golden
Brothers; Lester Honeycutt & wife Darlene, Arthur Honeycutt

Chester & Esther, began their life together July 24, 1952, Chester began his life works with C.L. Kline at the store and then his farm in Robbins at the age of 9 and worked his way into his coal mining business, where he later retired. Ester began her working at Boss Gloves and retired at Tibbals flooring. They worked hard on minimum wage and raised their five children. Mom & Daddy they only asked for their kids to graduate from High School, because they didn't. They were proud of all their kids, and always helped them. Their children all knew that they were loved. Being parents is a very hard job, but we had the best.

Esther his wife of 56 years, Mommy to their children, was raised in church in Robbins, at the Barton Chapel, where she sang and played the organ. She read her Bible daily and was a faithful to her Lord and Master.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday February 4, 2014 11am - 2 pm Schubert Funeral Home Sunbright. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Rev. David Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Carpenter Cemetery in the Nydeck Community
