Charles "CB" Phillips, of Oliver Springs, TN

Charles “CB” Phillips, of Big Mountain Rd. in Oliver Springs, went to be with the Lord August 6, 2019 surrounded by his family.  He was born February 14, 1937.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mamie Phillips of Oliver Springs; son, Charles B. Phillips, Jr.; sister, Sally Patria, Alice and husband, Harvey Ferguson and Dolly Lambert; niece, Tammy Russell; brothers, Sam Phillips, Oscar and wife, Ivory Phillips, Robert Lee and Terry Phillips.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Phillips; sons, Gary (Becky) Phillips of Sunbright, David L. (Janie) Phillips, of Harriman; daughter, Angela “Buffie” McKeehan and friend, Virgil Davis of Sunbright; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 9, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Greg Overton and Bro. David Coffman officiating.  Graveside services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Petros Cemetery in Petros.
