Carolyn Ooten, of Deer Lodge, TN

Carolyn Sue Ooten born December 17, 1953 went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Ruby Houston; father, Joe Houston; husband, Cleatus Ooten all of Deer Lodge; sister, Hazel Hurst, Ruth Pennicuff, Joetta Houston, Darlene Howard.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Rains; granddaughter, Emily Rose Rains of Deer Lodge; sisters, Glades Faye Duncan of Jamestown, Opal Winslett of Alabama, Linda Jones and brother, Lee Houston both of Deer Lodge; also, several step-children and step-great grandchildren.

She was loved by all and will truly be missed.

The family will receive friends; Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. e.s.t at the Chestnut Ridge Community Church with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Roy Langley officiating. Interment to follow in the Adams Hill Cemetery.
