Carnet Ryan

Mr. Carnet L. Ryan, age 70, of Wartburg, passed away Tuesday October 27, 2009.
Carnet was born in Pine Knot, KY, but spent most of his life in Wartburg.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. After leaving the Army, he returned home to resume his position with Highland Telephone Co. for which he worked
41 years before retiring in 2000. He was an avid hunter and storyteller who also enjoyed helping others in the community.

He was preceded in death by parents; Herbert and Reba Siler Ryan.

Mr. Ryan is survived by wife; Shirley Ryan
Daughter; Angela and husband Kenny Osborne
Sisters; Greta and husband Tommy Pennycuff and Iris Thompson,
Brother; Ray and wife Mary Ryan.
Nieces and nephews; Teresa Lowe, Kathy Bunch, Tim Pennycuff and Brenda Cate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 28, 2009 from
6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Bro. Jim Phillips and Bro. Josh Lowe officiating.

Graveside service will be Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in Morgan Memorial Gardens.
Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg in charge of arrangements.
