Carmella Phillips, of Wartburg, TN

Carmella Lynn Phillips age 50, of Wartburg went home to be with the Lord August 9, 2017. She was born March 23, 1967 in Selmer, TN. She has been a resident of Wartburg since 2000 and was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Fransis Carter; brother-in-law, Mickey Phillips, Penny Carroll, Anthony Carroll, Jamon Carroll, Jacob Carroll and Charles Ray Phillips; grandparents, Louise, Carol Phillips and Clate and Ernie Lowe.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Mike Phillips; mother and father-in-law, Bertha Homer Phillips; daughter, Robbie Wallace; son, Kyle Wallace and step sons, Michael and Jonathan Phillips; 1 grandson, David Wallace; 1 granddaughter, Emmi Louise McQueen; sister, Penny Lindsey; father, James Ray Moody; brothers, James Allen Moody and Tommy Benson; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Hobert Phillips of Wartburg; sister-in-law, Carolyn Weldon of Clinton TN.

Carmella loved spending time with her grandson, David as well as family and friends. Carmella “Lynn” Phillips will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 11, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow with Bro. Jimmy Byrge officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to Schubert Funeral Home.
