Mr. Carl "Bud" Helton Jr., age 84 of Oakdale passed away Friday, April 6th, at his home. Carl was a long time member of the White Oak Baptist Church. He was retired from TVA Watts Bar Plant. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. Carl was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 Years Mildred P. Helton, son: Daniel Helton, parents: Carl and Maude Stewart Helton, brothers: Alvin and Willard Helton, sisters: Dorothy Redmon, Helen Bingham, Zella Bingham, Mary Burchfield and Madge Summers.

Carl is survived by his children: Steve Helton, Chris Carter, Julie (Ricky) Comer, Mark (Tammy) Helton and Thomas (Terri) Helton.
Seven Grandchildren: Danny (Faith) Helton, Art Rivers, Clifton Carter, Amber (Jon) Kirby, Joshua (Gayla) Helton, Amelia Comer and Jacob Helton
Four Great Grandchildren: Austin, Madyson, Audrey and Gracie
Step-Mother: Irene Helton
Sister: Shirley (Ray) Collins
Many special nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 9, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at White Oak Baptist Church in Oakdale. Funeral Services will follow with Bro. Danny Jenkins and Bro. Billy Walker officiating. Graveside Services will be Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00a.m. At Pine Orchard Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Grandsons: Danny Helton, Art Rivers, Clifton Carter, Jacob Helton, Joshua Helton and Jon Kirby.
