Bruce Greene, of Wartburg, TN

Mr. Bruce Love Greene JR. age 83, passed away after a lengthy battle with lung cancer on December 4, 2017. He was born on February 11, 1934 in Morgan County.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce L. Greene Sr. and Mary Schubert Greene; Granddaughter Melinda Greene; Brother in Law, Junior Hamby.

Survived by Wife of 57 years, Rose Hamby Greene; Son Bruce David Greene and wife Keela Neal Greene; Granddaughter Danielle Greene Mccartt and husband Samuel; Granddaughter Sophia Greene; Great Grandson Camden Mccartt; brother James Greene and wife Janet. Also surviving and a host of family and friends.

Bruce owned and operated Bruce’s Barber Shop and Greene’s Music in Wartburg for several decades. He also loved being a flag man and spectator at dirt track racing events, especially at Wartburg Speedway. Bruce also owned and operated Rocky Fork Jamboree, where he met many friends and shared his love of music.

The family will receive friends Thursday December 7, 2017 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. Paul Frick officiating. Graveside will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Liberty Church Cemetery.
