Bonnie Wilson

Bonnie Jean (Robinson) Wilson, 81, of the Joyner Community passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. She was born on January 21, 1931 in the Fork Mountain Community of Anderson County. She was a long-time member of Union Baptist Church. She was dedicated to and loved her family church and friends. She enjoyed cooking sewing, crocheting, gardening and canning but most of all she loved her husband Verda Lee for 59 Years celebrating their anniversary on Christmas Da. She retired from the Morgan County Board of Education in 1982, where she worked at Wartburg Elementary School as a Reading Aide where most knew her as "Miss Bonnie". She is preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Pearl (Vallalay) Robinson, Brothers: Harold, Roy, and Freddie Robinson.

"Miss Bonnie" leaves behind her husband: Verda Lee Wilson, Son and Daughter-In-Law: Ronnie and Teressa Wilson and Daughter and Son-In-Law: Debbie and Greg Landrum all of Joyner
Five Grandchildren: Jason (Erin) Wilson, Joni (Joe) Armes, Dustin, Tyler and Chelsey Landrum
Five Great Grandchildren: Halle and Bo Wilson, Malachi, Isabella and Addison Armes
She is also survived by a Brother and Sister-In-Law: Kenneth and Nancy Robinson of Wartburg
Sister and Brother-In-Law: Connie and Shorty Miller of Oliver Springs
Sister-In-Laws: Mabel Robinson of Mossy Grove and Betty Duncan of Joyner
Several Nieces and Nephews
She leaves behind special friends, Dennis and Sandy Ledbetter, Phyllis Swint, Russell and Sue Scott, Gina Harney and Tammy and Dwain Morgan.
The family will receive friends, Friday, January 4, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00PM with Rev. David Tapp and Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00AM at the Union Church Cemetery in Joyner.
