Billie G. Conner age 55, passed away suddenly at home in coalfield on Sunday, August 18, 2013. Mr. Conner was the first of his siblings to graduate high school, he graduated in 1978 from Coalfield High School. After graduation he followed in his Dad's footsteps and worked in the Coal Mines as well as working in Construction and Landscaping. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and several times he lost his glasses a Stimmer Dam in Kingston.
Everyone that met him loved him. He was a humble, kind spirit and had a heart full of gold. He always seemed to be helping someone whether it be a complete stranger or a family member or friend. All the kids that met him loved him and they had a special place in this heart. He loved animals and always had a pet, usually a dog. He was a member of Big Mountain Baptist Church.He is preceded in death by his parents: James Leon and Hallie Harris Conner and Eva Smith Young Conner, brother: David R. Conner and sister: Wanda L. Hunter
He is survived by a special Aunt who loved and cared for him as her own son: Shelby and husband Freddy Griffith

Sister and Brother-in-law: Lou and Jackie Bradshaw of Petros
Sister: Carolyn Basler and brother-in-law Terry Basler of Petros
Sister: Angel Castle of Wartburg
Step-sisters: Loretta Champion and Lois Thompson of the Nashville Area
Aunts: Ethel Phillips and Betty Bunch
Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00PM with Bro. Lonnie Lowe officiating. Graveside Services will be Thursday Morning at 11:00AM in the Petros Cemetery.
