Bill Hamby

Bill Hamby, age 68, of Sunbright, went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2014. He was a member and deacon of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church of Sunbright. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Flora Hamby, sisters; Lois Webb, and Faye Garrett Hill, brothers Ralph and J.C. Hamby.

Bill is survived by his wife of 47 years Judy Hamby
Daughters: Bridget DeFee and husband Kent
Melissa Langley and husband John
Kristy Taylor and husband Jimmy
Seven grandchildren
Brother: Jim Hamby
Sisters: Wanda Galloway, Sue Bowers, and Shirl Northrup
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and other friends and relatives

The family will receive friends Monday, July 14, 2014 from 5-8 pm Schubert Funeral Home Sunbright. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 am at the White Oak Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. David Coffman, Bro. Charles Webb, Bro. Russell Jones and Bro. Stanley Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunbright Cemetery.
