Betty Taylor of Wartburg, TN

Betty Jean Giles Taylor, age 79, formerly of Sweetwater, Tn. passed away on December 5, 2020 at Roane Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Brannon Giles; husband, Elden J. Taylor; stepson, Herman C. Taylor; sister, Josie Brock; brother, Robert Giles.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Steve Nelson of Wartburg, Tn.; stepson and wife, Gene and Wendy Tyler; sister, Mary Lou Lankford of Niota, Tn.; brother, James W. Giles of Sweetwater, Tn., and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The family is honoring Betty’s wishes to not have any services.

She will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
