Betty Howard

Mrs. Betty L. Howard, of Lancing, TN born May 6, 1949, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 1, 2014. Betty worked for many years at the Roane Medical Center as a LPN until she retired. She loved her children, and grandchildren with all her heart, her grandchildren were her joy!
Betty is preceded in death by her parents: Ray Melton & Treva Bowlin Melton Long, brothers: Glen Melton and Charlie Melton.

Betty is survived by her husband of 33 years Dawson Howard
Three Daughters and Grandchildren; & 7 Great grandchildren
Donna & Rocky Laughter, & Children Chip, Thump and Jessica all of Lancing
Glenda & Mitchell Dyer, & Children Alex, Curtis and Sarah all of Wartburg
Kimberly & Paul Monroe & Children Autumn, Kaitlynn & Seth all of Maryville
Also she is survived by her brothers & sisters;
Lois Evans, Russell Melton, Ronnie & wife Stephanie Melton, David & wife Pam Melton, Marjorie & husband Daryl Green, Angie Melton Ross, Marilyn Kent, Lynn & wife Wendy Melton, Gary & wife Barbara Melton, Gail & husband Danny Ross
Also a host of nieces and nephews and other friends and relatives survive.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, August 3, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8 pm with Bro. Doyle Nance officiating. Graveside services will be Monday August 4th 11 am at the Clear Creek Cemetery, Lancing.
