Bernard Aytes

Mr. Bernard Hugh Aytes was born April 17, 1939, born again August 21, 2010 and went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his father, Myrle Aytes and great-grandson, Christian Taylor Aytes.

He is survived by his mother, Edith Aytes; wife, Faye Aytes; children: Jeff and Janet Aytes, Bruce and Toni Potter, Doug and Terri Griffith, Joey and Lisa Aytes, and two that were like children to him, Don Potter and Karen Darnell, grandchildren: Andy and Nikki (Brat) Bryan, Jeffrey (Charlie) Aytes, James (Chipper) Aytes and Brittney, Dustin (Captain) Aytes, Whitney (JC Whitney) Aytes, Julie (GG) Griffith, and Eric (Wildman) Griffith; great grandchildren: Austin (Li-Hugh) Seiber, Hannah (Cannon Ball) Seiber, and Colton (Porky) Aytes; fourteen brothers and sisters and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 4, 2010, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will follow with Bro. Roy Langley officiating. Interment will be in the Frankfort Church Cemetery.
