Arttie Melhorn, of Wartburg

Arttie Marie Melhorn, age 98 passed away April 15, 2020 at Life Care Center of Morgan County.  She was born November 13, 1921 to Andy and Bessie Beasley.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Melhorn; sons, Tom Melhorn, Jim Melhorn and Claud Melhorn; daughter-in-law, Annie Melhorn.

She is survived by her children, George S. Melhorn, Anna Melhorn Human, Jessy (Sheila) Melhorn, David (Kathy) Melhorn and Harold (Judy) Melhorn; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

In light of current events, the family understands that not everyone feels comfortable coming out to show their respects.  Therefore, the family has requested that the funeral service be webcast on Schubert Funeral Home Facebook page at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2020 with Rev. Bill Durham officiating.  Interment will follow at Wartburg City Cemetery in Wartburg.
