Arthur Coffman

Mr. Arthur Everett Coffman, age 65, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Knoxville, TN.
Arthur served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He also drove a truck for over 30 years as his occupation, traveling all over the United States, and was a member of the Lions Club Oakdale Chapter for years. He was an organ donor, which showed how much he loved and wanted to help other people.
He was preceded in death by father, Everett Arthur Coffman and mother, Edith (Farmer) Coffman of Oakdale; brother, Richard Coffman and sister-in-law, Charlotte Coffman of Oakdale; sister, Patricia (Coffman) Butler of Oakdale; brother-in-law, George Ressler of Marion, IN; and nephew, Doug Wilkie of Wartburg.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Lisa Coffman and son, Jason Coffman, all of Knoxville; five grandchildren: Brandon, Dylan, and Peyton Coffman of Knoxville, and Hunter and Chloe Coffman of Oakdale; brother and sister-in-law, Gary Lynn and Connie Coffman of Oakdale; sisters: Brenda Ressler of Marion, IN and Betty Powers of Harriman; and aunt, Beulah Coffman of Oakdale.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. John Underwood officiating.
