Anna Francis

Anna Mae Francis, age 92 of Wartburg, died Tuesday Morning, July 5, 2016, at her home with her family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband Clayton M. Francis.  Her mother and father Anna Mae and Charlie Knight.  Her brothers Marley, Fred, Forest, and Raymond Knight, and sister Gertie Kelley.

She was a dedicated and longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church in Wartburg, TN.

Anna Mae Francis was loved and cared for by her loving son Ray Francis, her daughter Nina VanNorstran and grandson Michael Francis for the past several years.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by daughters:   Ida Murray of Hendersonville, TN

Carolyn (Eddie) Walker of Joliet, IL

Nina (Gary) VanNorstran of Mossy Grove

Mary (Ricky) Matheson of Lancing.

Sons:  Clayton Jr. (Marybeth) Francis of Wartburg

Charles (Jabo) Francis of Mossy Grove

Wade (Kathy) Francis of Oakdale

Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 11am to 1 pm Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg.  Funeral Services will follow at 1 pm with Dr. Paul Frick officiating.  Interment will follow in the Armes Chapel Cemetery, Wartburg.
