Amanda Daugherty

Miss Amanda Rene' Daugherty age 25, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday October 19, 2009. Amanda fought a life long battle with diabetes. She was also known as "Pooh Bear" by the family that loved her dearly. Amanda had a special place in her heart for her nephews Aidan and Andrew, who she was very proud of Amanda also loved and cared very much for her Aunt Kim AND Uncle Mark Norman, who loved and treated Amanda like one of there own.
She was preceded in death by father; James P. Daugherty, grandmother; Carolyn M. Daugherty, grandfather James (J.W.) Daugherty, Grandparents, Tommy and Abbie Rickett, great-grandparents; Melvin and Daisy Massengill, Bessie Duncan and very special cousin; Jennifer N. Jones.

Amanda is survived by mother; Delores Huskey, step-mother; Angie Daugherty. Sisters; Jamie Reynolds, Abbie Smith, Summer Huskey and Angie Wonders.
Brothers; James (Baby James) Daugherty, Tommie Smith and Ronnie Wonders.
Aunts and uncles; Kim and Mark Norman, John and Anita Daugherty all of Petros. Sherry and Arthur Worbington of Gainsboro, Ron and Diane Rickett, Steve Rickett, J.W. and Suzie Rickett, Tommie Rickett Jr., Roy Rickett, Special Aunt and Uncle Angie and Earnest McCarter of Wartburg.
Special cousins Jeremiah and Daniel Norman, T.J. Daugherty, Tim Rice, Tonya, Greg and Bradley Hamlet. And a host of special family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday October 23, 2009 from 6 to 8:00 P.M.
at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 P.M. with remembrances by family and friends.
