Aileen Hooks

On Tuesday, September 13, 2106 Aileen Hooks went home to be with the Lord with her family at her side. She was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church until her illness prevented her from attending. Our mother was sweet, gentle person who loved everyone and always wore a sweet smile.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Talbert and Della Hamby. Brother, Lons Hamby and her husband, Floyd Ray Hooks.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Hamby and friend Lyndell Rose James Gibson of Wartburg, Crystal Hooks of Dandridge. Three grandchildren, Josh Hamby and wife Stephanie and her great grandson, Corbin Hamby all of Lancing. Shea and Raven Ramsey of Dandridge. Also her loving care givers from Quality Private Duty, Tina Parks, Briana Bryce and many others who all took excellent care of my mom.

She is also survived by brother and sister in law, Conley and Helen Hamby of Wartburg. Sister and brother in law, Ann and Lewis Howard from Evensville, Tn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and friends who she loved. dearly.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 16, 2016 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. with the funeral to follow with Bro. Tim Hamby officiating. Internment will be at the Elizabeth Cemetery in Lancing.
