Adam COOPER

COOPER, MR. ADAM CARL - age 33, of Knoxville, TN, passed away to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, May 3rd, 2010. He was a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Information Technology. Adam was a Merchant Marine for three years, and most recently worked as an investment advisor, finishing at the top of his class with his Series 7. He was known by his family and closest friends to be strong-willed, loving, quick to forgive, sincere, ingenious, and family-oriented. He was an avid reader and continuous learner, especially anything historical, and loved the peace and solitude of the woods. Like Jacob, Adam wrestled with the Lord and finally surrendered, asking Jesus into his heart less than a month ago. He is preceded in death by his mother Catherine Cooper, step-mother Pamela Richards Cooper, brother Ryan, grandfather Manford Brewer, and grandparents Hayes and Jewel Cooper. Adam is survived by his father Alvin Cooper of Cape Coral, Florida; grandparents Edith and J.D. Overton; uncles and aunts John and Pat Cope, Ken and Karen Cooner, Ken and Jennifer Brewer, Jerry Brewer, and Randall and Dean Hawn & family, as well as by dear cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 15th, from 1 to 2 pm at Liberty Baptist Church in Wartburg, TN, with services officiated by Dr. Paul Frick.
