A B Freytag of Wartburg, TN

A B Freytag, age 92, of Wartburg, left this earth for his heavenly home on September 9, 2017.  He was born June 6, 1925.  He was a member and deacon of the Wartburg First Baptist Church. Served as Mayor of the City of Wartburg, WWII Veteran, Gideon, Mason and president of the Wartburg Senior Citizens for several years.

He is preceded in death by his parents:  August and Bertie Langley Freytag, Son:  Allen Freytag, Grandson:  Phillip Freytag, Sister:  Emma Taylor, Brothers:  Lee, J.C. and Roy Freytag.

He is survived by his loving wife of 73 Years Naomi Thomas Freytag

Son:  Glen and wife Ann Freytag

Daughter-in-law:  Paula Freytag

Grandchildren:   Angie (Lynn) Bunch, Kim (Alan) Keller, Keith (Cindy) Freytag, Andrea Adams, and Jennifer (Kesler) Young.

Great Grandchildren:  Heather (Doyle) Hudson, Kristin (Justin) Throneberry, Wade Keller, Jared Freytag, Courtney (Mark) Greene, Brandon (Katelyn) Adams, Hanna Adams, and Lauren Young.

Great-great Grandchildren:  Amaiya Hudson, Kailynn Throneberry, Zoee Adams, Ryleigh Greene, and Gracelyn Adams.

Also surviving are several other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 4-6 pm Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.  Funeral services will follow at 6 pm with Bro. James Foster officiating.  Interment to follow immediately after the funeral in the Wartburg City Cemetery.
