Aaron Miniard

Rev. Aaron Dennis (Dink) Miniard, age 58 of Crossville, passed away Tuesday, November 10th 2009, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born June 5, 1951, in Hazard, Kentucky, the son of Joseph and Alzena Miniard. Dink, Kay, and family lived in Ohio for 40 years, where he worked at Dayton Walther for 30 years. He loved God, fishing, and life, but most of all he loved his family and friends. He touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alzena Miniard, and by his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Kay Miniard (VanNorstran) of 40 years; sons: Dennis Wayne Miniard (Angie), and Michael Lee Miniard (Jamie); brothers: Danny Joe Miniard and Kenneth Lee Miniard (Sharon); grandchildren: Aaron Lee Miniard, Josh (Sara), and Shawn Strausburg; great grandchild, Carleigh Strausburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 12th, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Pugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Nelson Cemetery, in Wartburg, TN.
